Christina Caljé is announced as Treasurer of the Governance Board for the Friends of Amsterdam Museum Foundation supporting the financial campaign for the renovation of the former Burgerweeshuis on Kalverstraat, which houses Amsterdam Museum, the city’s historical museum.
The Amsterdam Museum will finance this renovation through fundraising and sponsorship of approximately €15million. As part of this fundraising effort, the Foundation of the Amsterdam Museum foundation was established in 2022 with the aim of raising financial resources for the museum in the context of the renovation, its furnishings and other activities and projects that fall within the purpose of the Amsterdam Museum.
